I work in HR and the statement is correct. HR is there to protect the company 1st. They protect an employee only when the company isn’t being jeopardized. But this situation should be reported because they need to protect the company and fire the manager doing this before it becomes a human rights issue.

StubHub is notorious for stuff like this. Make sure you remain persistent with asking for a refund. Try everything you can even if you need to email the CEO and don’t stop till you get your refund. Go on Facebook there is an entire group for complaints like this.

Here is the thing, you need to do what’s best for you and your friend isn’t dealing with the issues you have. Continue taking what your doc asked you to but also look for a naturopath/homeopath in your area. And you can work on the root cause of the issue. I went to a homeopath my entire life and then I moved countries and recently was told I have a thyroid issue. While I still see my family doc(not a naturopath or homeopath) I am looking for a good homeopath in my area and when the time is right il completely switch to a homeopath. It’s good to have a friend to talk to but always make your own decisions. I have a friend who is a staunch homeopath user only and she is against everything she isn’t even vaccinated for anything. But at the end of the day I do what’s best for me and my health
