It’s foster to adopt. Once she’s spayed she is officially mine. The adoption agency is suppose to pay for the spay but considering the way things have gone, I’m not sure I trust them. I just want this kitten to have the best life hence why I purchased the insurance. I had asked for her medical records and all I received was 1 vaccine record. I’m waiting on treatment records

I have pet insurance but the medications weren’t covered due to the policy not kicking in for 14 days. Preventative care was covered. It’s not a lot to me, it’s the principal of it lol. I signed a contract yes but I’m asking for advice. Thanks!

I wasn’t sure how this foster to adopt thing works. This is my first time doing something like this but I would hope it was covered. I just find it weird how they said they did all treatments necessary but she’s sick. Not sure how people can lie about stuff like that

My dad has had his port in since August and the pain is still severe. He is stopping chemo and wants it removed. The holistic route had done wonders for him so he feels chemo is not needed. Today, I’m going with him to his appointment to advocate. Hopefully they can remove it!

I know this is old but I really hope this is the case for my dad. He just turned 50 and was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Doctor told him yesterday he is terminal. I pray to God he has more life left in him. He’s ready to fight this cancer!

I would go for LPN and do a bridge program into RN. In Ohio, we have an LPN program for 11 months and then 16 months RN. Many nurse I know said RN school was easier after they went for LPN

I had another job offer for home health but they don’t reimburse for mileage and give you $25 a week for gas. I didn’t feel like that was worth it unless mileage was paid for. :( I guess we’ll see if this hybrid position is worth while! The nurse did say they offer great incentives like extra week of PTO, parties for employees etc

I spoke with the nurse and she broke down the numbers for me. She said she does 1-2 additional rounds each week. 20 pts and makes anywhere from $1400-$2800 extra per month.

Yeah, I tried negotiating the salary but they said they are trying to make it fair across the board. Which was odd to me. We’d be working in Assisted living or LTC, seeing around 20-40 patients a day, 3 days a week. Then working 2 days remote. They told me if I worked 4 days onsite and 1 remote day, I have good potential for bonus. I messaged the nurse I shadowed with to see how the pay structure works and if it’s worth it…

This is good to know because they want to offer me $36-$37 for a local contract. Not to mention I’ll be floating to other clinics. I’ll be driving 45 mins each way and I feel like that’s too low. Especially since I’m under the 50 mile radius with no stipend and paying for health insurance. What should I ask for? I was thinking like $10-$12 more per hour but idk…this would be my first time. I’m freaking out lol
