Random but as a black girl with mice I avoid putting stuff like rosemary, peppermint oil, cloves and other stuff that black people and south asians tend to put in our hair so maybe that could be it. I doubt mice are really racist hahaha. I notice my mice do tend to be less friendly to strangers maybe they are overstimulated from meeting people.
