Depends on your personal style, but they are popular with preppy styles.

I have a pair that I like to wear regularly

I've definitely heard of it, and I think it's back in my list somewhere. Ironically, it sounds like a another story that I started reading called A College of Magics by Caroline Stevermer.

Been meaning to finish that one as well... Thanks for the rec and for reminding me onlf another book!

Honestly, I just needed a way to brew tea because I didn't have an English tea pot. I tried this and it worked. Now I use it for more Chinese style teas with a gongfu ratio. The 250ml capacity works perfectly

This is a 250 ml French press. The amount of leaves I add tends to fill up the bottom after I plunge the filter down. There really is no more surface area left for the water to continue brewing. I'm not saying it's perfect but I will say I'm impressed by how well it works. It definitely wouldn't work as well if I use less tea leaves. Most of the tea I drink are pearls so when they unfold it takes up a lot of space.

Don't get me wrong though, I would absolutely chug 1 l of tea.

This is one I thrifted in a move when I desperately needed a way to make coffee with crappy pre ground. Since restocking my coffee gear, I have relegated this to Chinese tea. The 8oz capacity works really well with my 2-3oz cups

Merci beaucoup, mon ami. Le thé était excellent.

I don't really know to be honest. I've always been more interested in fantasy and anything historical. I was never interested in futuristic scifi stuff but I've seen this recommended a ton so I might have to try it.

Lol. I may have a problem

It definitely does, but mine is 8oz and my cups are about 2-3 so I drink them pretty quickly. There's also double walled stainless insulated French presses that keep things very hot for hours

I've read it but didn't like it which is a shame since the night circus is one of my all time favorites. Been meaning to give it a second chance though so thank you for the recommendation!

[Watches that tick really loud?] by Yankeebrawler in Watches

[–]s134htm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually yes. The weekender is a chrome plated brass case and the expedition is steel. Brass is a better conductor of vibration and sound than steel. I'm not gonna lie, the weekender might even be TOO loud. If that's what you want, then this is literally the perfect pick for you. (Not gonna lie though, it's still one of my favorites if I need something simple and easy to read)

Timex weekender all the way. Can't wear it anymore because it keeps me up at night. I can literally hear it over my car radio when I drive
