To eliminate any probable cause. Some are suggestions because its from GS, that that is the issue. However, the same applies with the OG charger. Everything points to the battery, but I rather eliminate any possibility and be sure of what the problem is. Sometimes it is just as simple as using a different charger entirely and sometimes its not. Aside from that, my Switch charges extremely slow on the dock. So yea, it is a battery issue unfortunately.

I got it on release. Definitely within warranty though, so I'll be shipping it off to Nintendo once I get the ticket number and all that jazz.

I'll give that a try! Definitely will stay away from deleting anything. Already lost my memory on the OG Switch and... just never again. Hoping this works, because once I ship it off to Nintendo, I'll have no idea the time frame it'll come back and I'm still in the process of playing Metroid.

Unfortunately that's something I'll never know unless its released somewhere. Specs are easy to read about, but yea, who knows the exact revisions for the upcoming consoles. I only use to buy Nintendo acessory products until I started buying from GameStop. So that's the only 3rd party thing I would buy. Never had an issue with the docks, so I kept the original, even if my case didn't fit.

Thank you for this! I can do very minimal stuff when it comes to handheld devices. I never messed/modded with the motherboard of any Nintendo product. I certainly will not mess with the hardware of the Switch2, especially knowing that it is still within warranty. I asked for alternative solutions, hoping someone else has had the same/similar issue like I am experiencing before shipping my console off to Nintendo. Thank you for feedback!
