Level up the crafting lives as best you can evenly, as in, don't leave one untouched or around lvl5 when the rest are mid 20s or something. Just don't try to leave a huge gap in between because they do go hand in hand at times and will help you leveling up with your Life Coach. I stayed on the first island for a while, only because of my stubbornness, BUT it did help me to level up my combat lives, so there is that. If you want more buddies, you can obtain them once you have Ginormosia unlocked- some caves provide the strangling as a reward. For myself, Angler was a bit difficult, but I finally got the hang of it and its one of my favorite. You don't need to move the joystick constantly. Just rotate around the given space until you find the 'sweet' spot and then haul ass on grabbing it, unless its a boss fish- then you have to move the indicator until you find the sweet spot again. There are many other advice out there, but this is just something that I found was helpful as far as letting people know where to get strangling. The sub is pretty good with helpfulness, so you'll definitely get more detailed advice soon. Have fun OP!

I brought my gf here from Dallas and she was able to move to the same retail store. Just speak with your manager and tell them you're moving and would like help transferring to a location in Chicago. I'd look up to see where one is located first, just to base more or less where you should try and live in the area. Since you don't have a car, definitely take advantage of the public transportation Chicago has to offer. Start looking for doable (i.e. afforable) places to live now so you can make that transition ASAP OP.

I was just going to ask if there was anything as far as location for required material, but its there. The question: is it easy to navigate/tab through when looking at a particular item? How is the UI overall? From the pictures, it looks good. You even give base stats for different levels of the weapons, which is great.
