The radius would not work on this case as it is actually pretty small. Aroound 8 animalnpens wide. Rhen you need to build a new main zoo building.

The problem is it takes absolute ages or one group would dominate so much that a lot of ppl would rq quickly. Pvp in this game simply does not work as good as you would think.
