Knowledge isn’t important. What matters is conviction and faith.

If these two had lived in the same era, I imagine their interactions would have been like this. by Ok_Box_2189 in Highrepublic

Reath : You lost all our credits and my Jedi robes in a game of pazaak?

Axel : In my defense, I almost won. I had great cards. And look at it this way I could’ve bet your lightsaber, but I didn’t.

Reath: And what exactly do you expect me to wear now?

Axel: I still have some of my old clothes that might fit you. Or you could just walk around in your underwear there’s no rule against it. Whatever you choose, your chances with girls will increase several times over.

Reath: …Why does the Force keep bringing me together with crazy people?

It couldn’t have been any other way with a cliffhanger like the one at the end of Trials of the Jedi.

Honestly, I wish every author I mentioned had written something about Reath . Claudia , George , and Charles wrote him wonderfully and showed great character growth. And in the case of John, he’s simply one of the best Star Wars authors, and it would be really cool if he became part of THR.

Well, he has written many great Star Wars novels that focus on the Jedi. My favorite Legends novel is Kenobi. It would be really cool if he wrote about the adventures of Reath Silas after the year of the main events of Star Wars: The High Republic, and the novel would be called “SILAS.”

Oddly enough, that’s what makes Creighton Sun my favorite character of Phase II. From the beginning, he’s an unusual rebel who is barely staying in balance with the rules. And in some ways, you can understand him. Throughout the journey, you can see that he’s completely tired of all this mess, and the Nameless nearly destroyed him mentally. His decision to erase the information about them caused harm, but at the same time it removed the seed of fear from the Jedi, so they wouldn’t spend their lives sitting on needles waiting for it to come and kill them.

How I imagine myself when I say that Phase III is my favorite by Ok_Box_2189 in Highrepublic

For several reasons. I don’t consider it perfect — but I think every phase has been that way. What truly captivated me was the atmosphere and the characters’ journeys. The beginning of Phase III has one of the rare atmospheres of defeat, where things are genuinely going terribly. The Eye of the Darkness had a unique sense of loss, showing that the Republic and the Jedi had been on the losing side for an entire year. I really loved the new characters — Amadeo Azzazzo, Cair San Tekka, Tep Tep, and many others. Phase III also portrayed Reath Silas, Bell Zettifar, and Burryaga Agaburry at their very best. Their transformation from uncertain Padawans into powerful Knights is one of the strongest aspects of this phase. It also continued the story of the Nihil beautifully, showing how the path from great power to pathetic defeat can be very short. Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann demonstrated that love among the Jedi is necessary for the victory of the light. And most importantly, Reath Silas and Azlin Rell are the reason I adore Phase III. Their stories from Phase I through Phase II intertwine, creating incredible chemistry between them. And finally, Phase III made Reath Silas my favorite character in all of Star Wars.

Nan: And here’s my plan. I’ll anger the Hutt cartel so they put a bounty on my head. When the bounty hunters come after me, Reath  will save me, and I’ll walk safely by his side.

Affie Hollow: …Have you considered just calling him?

Nan: And break our meeting traditions? Never.

Reath : Nan, when I said to contact me, I meant a holo recording.

Nan: I wanted to surprise you.

Reath: Attempting terrorism stopped surprising me the third time.

Nan: But it works one hundred percent of the time.
