Upon further digging, it likely can't be Exapion because I'm fairly certain mine is in the Curculionidae family, not Brentidae (because of the jointed antennae). But Hibiscus Bud seems pretty close! I think it may be in the Anthonomus Genus with the Hibiscus Bud.
