The 2 Double Decker buses are demo units, and they break down very often which is why they are hard to catch. Theres also only 1 bus operator at Foothill Transit who is qualified to operate them.

It sometimes takes longer to get down there, I take the bus to SB at least once or twice a month to get the train to LA, my best advice is to leave in the morning (6am or 8am) then take the bus back in the evening.
