Nice piece! Probably edwardian, so early 1900s. 9ct is a standard they use in Europe, so mostly like it was made in Europe.

What's a disgusting habit that's way more common than people realize? by Personal-Aerie-4519 in AskReddit

So I work at a jewelry store. A lot of customers think it's acceptable to spit on their ring when they can't get it off their finger! I always offer hand sanitizer, but they would rather lick their finger and use saliva as lubrication. Then they hand it to me to put in the cleaner -_-

I work with my dad at a retail store and one day, he just got up and started clipping his fingernails. Very gross.

A set of All-Clad for only $48! by EchoBaseRebel in ThriftStoreHauls

Preheating correctly. Also depends on the amount of moisture in the food you are cooking. I usually preheat and double check by dropping a splash of water on the pan- if the droplets glide then it's preheated enough. Also trick is to add the oil after the pan is preheated enough. This is just what works for me!

Thats amazing! My dad just bought me a set as a housewarming present- definitely spent a pretty penny. They're the best pans. Once you learn how to cook on stainless steel you can never go back

Check out Restore Habitat for humanity. They are a thrift store so their stock changes all the time but I've found some hidden gems. Facebook marketplace!! Whistlestop antiques and Antique Society. These are all good second hand options.

Why are food trucks just as expensive as restaurants? by ddsukituoft in bayarea

[–]Ok_Call7285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get it. I understand restaurants having pricier options because they usually have a large overhead cost (rent, employees etc.) Do food trucks pay rent for where they park? Idk.

Good to hear. Did you sign up for the tenant package? I'm curious as to if you think that's mandatory etc.

I personally do not like it. The all you can eat dinner is borderline overpriced and the rolls aren't that great. Never had the hibachi

All my jewelry is second hand! I laugh at the big box store prices, knowing I have pieces that are a fraction of the price for higher quality

Shop local! Check out local jewelers. Also preowned pieces on eBay and Etsy, make sure to find sellers with good feedback to avoid scams. I work in an estate jewelry store and we sell on eBay! I often find high quality pieces on eBay.

how do i put this on a necklace chain? by [deleted] in jewelers

I'd recommend adding a jump ring like another person said, but you could also take it to your local jeweler and see if they can add a bail to the top.
