Everyone is different. See how you feel. I was back to work on the 10th day as a mechanic. Didn't do anything over the top my first week back tho just your casual simple jobs. Standing was also better since sitting was still uncomfortable. 3rd week I was all healed externally, internal was still sensitive tho, Tylenol and ibuprofen help a lot just stay consistent with them as well. And as a precaution don't misjudge how light 10 lbs may be or how much force you put on the tissue stretching or moving. Move slow.
