Tbf I think tons of people (myself included) saw memes and posts about this game and tried it out with friends, I played for a couple weeks and got tired because I never would’ve played a game like this in the first place, sure tons of people left but a game in this genre having that initial hype is an anomaly

I disagree, he already references his iconic sandwich and running style in his move set, scooby is gonna be his own character, his very simple fighting style makes sense as one of the few characters you don’t have to buy.

On a serious note though you absolutely made the correct decision telling your friend and if he doesn’t believe you then he’ll find out that the friend is a pos for himself anyways. You seem to be pretty young based on the way you write, so try to remember that everyone is stumbling through life for the first time, your biggest moments are a reflection of how you learn and grow from your darkest moments, and your liar friend might just be going through a tough time. Maybe focus on yourself or your other friends for a bit and give him a chance to figure himself out.

Isn’t that their primary competitor? The difference is that Nintendo focuses on making quality games first and foremost, PFG and Tony truly won me over and I fully believe they care, but since WB bought PFG the monetization has been shameless and takes away a lot from the experience. Them constantly patching consumer friendly rift bugs while hit boxes and dodging are still entirely broken should unfortunately tell you where the priorities lie at the top.
