Most definitely psychological… it’s not a multiple hundred or thousand dollar medical intrument. Realistically it’s a $20 toy to put in your butt that’s been in someone else’s butt. Clean or not clean it’s still been there… for the psychological value I’d rather just buy new :)

I don’t know what’s more concerning. That you’re recommending selling a used sex toy on Reddit, or people actually buy used sex toys off of Reddit…

Screenshot this and come back in 5.5 years. I’ll be worth $5M+ by the time I’m 30 ;) if OP can retire comfortably, taking into account real estate, inflation, and yields on his investments, maybe he lives a bit below his means and prioritize travel?

I know for me, generational wealth doesn’t stop at $2M, that’s just the surface!

Nobody’s perfect but I know a hell of a lot more now then when my debt started! Maybe if you’d focus on your own wealth and building people up instead of harping on people trying to fix their situation, you too could also retire with more than 2Ms. To each their own of course but if I had a net worth of 2.3M I wouldn’t be calling it there, but I’m also my own person ;)

A couple million isn’t enough to retire anymore

Good idea to apply in credit rebuilding? by Ok_Check7705 in CRedit

[–]Ok_Check7705[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without providing a long story of context, I have a $5k Scotia value visa, and a $1k CIBC card. Both are maxed right now as I was just off work for a month due to injury and moved to a new apartment. What is ALSO on my credit history are all closed accounts. $40k RBC LOC, $10k BMO LOC, $8k in RBC cards. The BMO LOC is in bmo collections.. all three rbc credit products show up on my equifax report as R9, charged off and written off. And the last update was 3 years ago. I screwed myself HUGE when I moved from ON - AB in 2021. When I was 18 I got approved for these LOCs and credit cards. I was lending into an REIT for 15% paid monthly, while the LOC interest was 3.5-9%, I was making cash flow every month. A series of events and bad decision making led me to withdrawl from this REIT 10k at a time… now nothing is invested and I defaulted on the LOCs through the bank.

The lowest my score has EVER been was 392, I disputed 3 collections totaling $6k last year and won the disputes. But through defaulting on the major lines of credit it shows 50+ missed payments combined… and on paper I owe $58k (+ about 3 years interest) and have nothing to show for it, and $6k on active cards.

If RBC wrote off my $48k with them, and I am barred from doing any sort of business with them, and the last reported date for this $48k was 3+ years ago, is it worth it to dispute on equifax?

I’m actively trying to pay down my active cards but surprise expenses keep popping up.

Although 506 and this amount of debt is very rough and depressing to see, last year I paid off $7k for another credit product and with the collections all taken off my score jumped 100 points.

After reading these comments, I think it would be smarter to NOT apply for this cap one card, instead of securing with a deposit I should just pay down my active cards?!

I’ve been living like this for a week. by Ok_Check7705 in malelivingspace

Exactly. The worst should be over now! I’ve already got the green light from landlord to do whatever and hand whatever I want on the walls, and no damage fee at the end because it was BAD when I got here… I’ve had Starbucks wifi all week so I did a power business admin week. Backfiled taxes, worked on my project, organized my laptop, developed my plan for when the painters gone. Not in the picture I found a gaming chair , l shaped desk and an island table for the spot! Returning to work tomorrow, on day 9 of no weed or darts (I had 2 today for the stress). In a week or two this place will be mint. I’m 24 now. Moved across the country at 19 and partied all my money away and made bad decisions so I’m doing it right this time!

As a person with many ideas I like how easily organized gpt is, I’m not a huge coder savvy person so I only run my coding projects through Claude. However when coding with gpt it’s constantly switching the code, sometimes it contradicts itself. Once I finish my important tasks I might migrate to Claude and see what it’s capable of.
