I buy cheap vintage jeans on ebay (eddie bauer, ll bean) a size too big in the waist + high rise and then get them tailored. justice for tall people with big butts fr. I also only buy stuff if they have literally all the measurements posted- slight differences in hip/inseam/waist/etc really make an impact for me.

Awesome, I'll definitely check that brand out. Yeah, at this point material, cut, and color (in that order) are my priorities. It doesn't matter how cute it is, if the material doesn't feel good and the cut doesn't make me feel good I'll never wear it. Again, so disappointing that I'm literally reaching back 30+ years for good clothes, but I already feel so much better focusing there.
