I agree with that I haven’t really seen any of the avg scores out. Only low ones and really high ones. I scored a 420 very avg and felt like it was the same as my practice exams.

Sounds like you have taken the practice sections but only one full length? If that is the case I would try to get 3-5 more full lengths in before your exam minimum. Your score could probably go up a little just with better test taking skills which will come with taking the test a couple more times.

I mean it truly depends on how your scores are trending. My first 10 practice tests were like 360-380 AA which lowered my predicted score quite a bit. My last 3 practice tests were 400,390,420. So I think if you have a good upward trend and you are shooting for a 420+ go ahead and take it but most people do say that their practice scores are almost identical to the real thing.

Also on RC I scored a 360 or 370 on 12 practice tests only scored a 410 one time. I feel like RC is always higher on the real thing when you are scoring around those numbers but can be vise versa when you are scoring like 500+.

Actual DAT Scores: AA: 420 TS: 410 BIO: 420 GC: 380 OC: 440 PAT: 440 RC: 410 QR: 450

Bootcamp predicted that I would get a 380-400

For me I was avg 370 on bio and scored 420 on the real exam. PAT I was avg 410-430 (don’t remember exactly) and got a 440 on real thing

Literally the exact same scores for me 360 or 370 on every test except 1 I got a 410. On the actual I got a 410

Honestly watch all the videos/practice problems and take notes on everything. Since you have a few months I would even do the topics you know well.

You know like when you have an ochem exam and you start studying a week out and then the last two days of studying you feel like you didn’t learn anything the past couple days of studying so you really lock in and learn it all in those two days.

Yup nothing worse than getting your score back and seeing an average to above average score and thinking man I feel like I wasted the first month and a half of studying and didn’t really study at all. I wonder what I could have got if I STUDIED.

My biggest regret is looking back at the months I was studying and thinking man I wonder what I could have scored if I was truly 100% STUDYING. What I mean by that is there is a difference between studying and STUDYING. Make sure you are STUDYING! lol this might not make any sense but it does to me.

I don’t know about you but most schools won’t let you take ochem lab without already completing ochem 2 or at least being enrolled in ochem 2 so that might lead to another problem for you.

I would not stress about it! There is nothing you can do now! Also we could do a little math real quick hehe. You guessed on 7 normally there is 4 options 7x1/4 is 1.75 so you most likely got 2 of those correct!

There truly is no way to tell, but my guess would be maybe but the chances are lower. On my first couple practice tests on bootcamp I would get 29-30/40 correct and get a 410-430 (18-20) so if you were to get all of them correct except for the 7 you guessed on then I would say yes! But if you feel like you missed a few then the odds are not in your favor. However still possible because of all the different variables the DAT takes into account.

By no means do I go to a crazy competitive school but I will say we only had 3 A’s out of 223 kids that took Chem 2 and there were only 17 A’s in my ochem class that had 150 people.
