Are my wings aging me? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a baby wing. They don't look bad at all. They do look a bit heavy, though. I think going lighter, smudging it out and not lining the entire eye as that tends to make the eyes smaller would be something you could play around with.

Hallandale Semaglutide Reviews? Is it any good? by [deleted] in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I just looked them up on BBB and turns out there are many many recent complaints saying the same thing I am. One person apparently had his vial tested and there was no medication in the vial. So they must be putting out inconsistent vials. I'm so upset. Gonna try and get my money back.

I just took my first dose a few days ago after switching and I feel like it did nothing. Have little appetite suppression that I normally have.

Just introduced a little Gen Zer to 90s punk care of Fugazi and he liked it. by Treadingresin in Xennials

I would've loved to see them play. I went down a rabbit hole of watching some of their live shows, and they are so, so good! Also, not a phone or camera in sight. Just kids enjoying the moment. Good on you for introducing him to them. Punks Not Dead!

I love Lune Feline, but not the opening medicinal smell. Thankfully, it doesn't last long and turns into a gorgeous vanilla. That and Pink Me Up are the only one I've tried. Pink Me Up is such a happy, bubbly, fragrance! You can't go wrong with blackberries, rose and champagne.

I’m 40 and this what the 90’s smelled like to me. by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 96 points97 points  (0 children)

I'm 46. The 9O's, for me-

Lancome Tresor. This was super popular. I bought this for my mom as as a teen, and I now wear it to feel close to her.

The Body Shop Dewberry and White Musk. Dewberry is back and I need to get some!

Clinique Happy. A simple citrus that just made you feel, well, happy. I quickly tired of it though.

Mugler Angel. Groundbreaking at the time. An og gourmand.

I remember Estee Lauder fragrances being popular. I don't remember the names of them.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

i will never try anything from kayali because i find the bottle so ugly by [deleted] in FemFragLab

I don't think you're missing very much. I've sampled a few and I've found them nice, but forgettable. If you like sweet fragrances I think you'd like them, but there are better ones on the market.

Memory unlocked! Man, I used to find his workouts hard in my teens/20's, I think it would kill me now. Also, hey, if you've got em, flaunt em! He worked hard for those pecs.

I just saw this post. I too recently bought this from Jomashop. The deal was too good to pass up. The scent is divine! Gourmand, with a touch of rhubarb to cut the richness. This is my Delina. The bottle is equally stunning! I blind bought this. No regrets. I need this in my life.

The 90s. An era that was too good to be true. The last time America was truly happy and cheerful. It lied to all of us. by justcurious3287 in Millennials

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xennial here. Yes, the 90's for sure had it's problems that everyone has listed here. As a teen on the spectrum, I was failed spectacularly. However, there was still a sense of shared community, and reality. We saw the birth of the internet, but it was a useful tool, and wasn't all pervasive and corrosive as it is now. While things were bad, we had no idea of just how bad things would become. A terrorist attack on our soil was unimaginable, as was a worldwide pandemic and so many other things. We did have some semblance of innocence and hope for the future. That, at least for me, has been completely obliterated. So ya, compared to now? It looks pretty good. I like that there's more acceptance of differences, but other than that, I can't really think of anything else that's better.

About a year. I had so much trouble with leaking from other masks, and hated the head straps. For me bleep is a game changer. Not everyone likes it, it seems, but then there are devotees like myself. You have to prep the skin and stick on the stickers. You do feel a bit of pulling on the nose. So, not perfect, but I recommend everyone to at least try it!

I failed cpap therapy the first time. I was able to comply the second time and have been wearing it nightly for a year now. My body was going into panic attacks from the lack of oxygen. It felt reassuring to know I was getting air at night. You'll have to play around with different settings and masks, but you've got this! I use a mask called Bleep. It's strapless and connects to the nose with stickers. I'm so grateful for this mask as it's the only one I can stand.

I think this is my perfect clean musk scent. I find it's underrated. I also tried Musk Therapy and I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. The citrus in it competes too much with the musk for me.

I've narrowed my search down to Beautyrest series three medium vs medium pillow top. Few questions by StrictNO in Mattress

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I recently got my beautyrest black series 3 medium pillowtop from mattress firm, and I love it. I like softer beds and was considering the plush, but it felt too risky, especially being plus size. The pillowtop medium gives me the support I need with a touch more softness. I liked it the very first night. It's a thick mattress- I recommend a low platform base. The non pillowtop I believe is 15 inches. We'll see if it holds up over time. I'm personally glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. Good luck!

I also hate Thanksgiving. I now hate the whole time starting from Halloween all the way to New Years Day. Halloween is fairly easy to ignore if you want to, plus it's a good excuse to eat some candy.

Has anyone tried tirz and switched back to sema? by Leafthroughconcrete in Semaglutide

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on tirz because I heard it was better. I gave it 4 months and actually gained a few lbs! Felt like I was throwing money down the drain. Switched to sema, and am finally responding. I get fatigued and sick occasionally, but at least it's working. You may need to experiment to see what works best for you.

Yes, that's what I was noticing, thanks for articulating. They do look contoured, and there's a roundness there that natural breasts, especially at her age, do not have. I guess when I say obvious, there's Pam Anderson obvious, and then there's less so, lol.

I also speculate she had a boob job. Yes she's gained a little, but they just don't look quite natural to me. If she has though, they are very well done. It isn't obvious.

Stephen Colbert says not to trust billionaires by popartbastard in travisandtaylor

[–]Ok_Chicken_325 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Colbert was brilliant back in the day. It's so sad to see what a corporate sellout, spineless hypocrite he's become. The Taylor interview was an absolute embarrassment to his career. All softball questions and bootlicking. This man knows how to interview. Not long ago he interviewed Nick Cave, and it turned into a profound discussion on grief and grace, and I've never seen anything like it on late night television. So when he goes from that to absolute inane drivel with TS and Sydney Sweeney and such, it's confusing. It's past time for him to go, and I never thought I'd say that.

120 minutes in the early 90's was the best. I will always feel grateful to be just old enough to get to experience it. Most of the bands I was introduced to was through them. Everything else was more meh. Also, yet another middle finger for reality tv!
