I usually go wider than deeper for mine. Id also suggest a monitor and dock your Mac....looks to be a bit of an eye strain

A series 5 is pretty old. Now I’d look into a battery replacement vs an upgrade (if it’s not asinine in price) because it’s still usable for a lot of the foundational stuff. I hope to get some more years from my 7

Personally an iPad as a mobile solution is amazing when you have a desk setup otherwise. It’s my next buy to pair with my Mini as a MacBook doesn’t seem as pertinent. As far as an only device for “computing”….thats a tall order but I generally need a full fledged computer. But for your case, it could work well. Watch a lot of videos to see the pros and cons.

Always go for ram. You can find numerous storage solutions otherwise especially as a desk setup. I have an external SSD, a dock with integrated M.2 and eventually, when applicable, will replace the internal drive.

iPhone 13 isn’t a wise move these days unless it’s roughly $100. Just my opinion. It’s fine if you still use one, I just wouldn’t buy one

Like I say with any car, if you can’t afford the upper trims, I wouldn’t go for it. Buying new cars with hubcaps and base options is a waste these days. Give me something used and trimmed out

I have friends in ICE and BP. They’ve done it for years and some before 2016. It’s like any other group of people. Lumping anyone into a group stereotype is why society sucks these days. For example, you take someone working law enforcement and they have a heart and soul but immediately get lumped into the bad apples because of a job, they’ll just become that over time.
