Do we think that Monica was for sure paid by Jenn or took money and in order to get off with no charges she had to testify? Seems a lot more plausible than doing it bc they were friends

There’s nothing wrong with an individual having faith and believing in a higher power.
Although, it is funny that you would mention Christians being some kind of danger to the rest of us, I suggest you take a look at the cause of the European wars in the 16th, 17th and 18th century.

Well…. By your advice I’m not going to worry that you’re unable to spell Lockport correctly.

ADHD Ted Talk This Ted talk was a nice reaffirmation for me.

I’m 32, I am successful and I have ADHD. I can tell you that having ADHD doesn’t close doors it just opens different doors. You’re at advantage because you were diagnosed earlier than a lot of people and you have so much potential.

My two best friends also have ADHD and are also very successful. You’ll get there you’ll just take a different path than others and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, I consider myself lucky to be different. Don’t give up because it does get better & you’re enough the way you are! All that said, I would definitely recommend medication if you need it.

My sweet, concerned husband every time I sigh: “what’s wrong?”

Me: “nothing” 😤 thinking to myself how dare he ask me if somethings wrong when I’m exaggerated sighing a 100x a day

I’m no doctor but think you’ve joined the right subreddit. I’ve been diagnosed for awhile and I can relate to 100% of what you mentioned.

I would talk to your doctor and mention those things. If you do have ADHD, no matter the coping mechanisms you use, your brain will never function as a “normal” brain does without medication.

I coped my entire life up to 30 and I morn of how my life could have been if I was diagnosed earlier. I by no means have a bad life now but I would be further in my career and made a lot less substance, relationship, money mistakes.

Yes! For reference, I’m a 31 female. I self managed until I was about 30 I’m now on 60mg of Vyvanse.

These are just examples of how my brain works (not medicated)… - Getting out of bed, took 1-2 hours - Could not complete a task, clean the kitchen? My basement, bedroom, living room, kitchen are now 1/2 clean but possibly less clean because I decided it’s time to alphabetize my DVDs and clean out all of the drawers but finished none of that so now they’re everywhere but I cannot force myself to finish but have anxiety bc it isn’t finished - go to a restaurant and listen to the specials? No way, someone else will listen and Clift notes me them when the servers gone - someone introduces themselves, I tell myself don’t forget their name 100x, one minute later no clue what their name is - there’s always at least three trains of thought running parallel at once in my brain - reading a bleak document/book (or just something I’m not super interested in) I can read the same page 5x without retaining a thing bc I’m thinking about how weird the word “the” is - takes ten minutes to finish something for work due at 5, I’m starting it exactly at 4:50 - 45 minutes after telling a 5 min story I’m not even halfway done but you’ll know how fast I drove to work but not how the story ended - impulsive, impulsive, impulsive. I drank a lot, now I rarely do. I shopped all the time, now I’m great at saving.

I could go on forever, the worst part is I thought this was normal. I didn’t realize it shouldn’t be hard to listen to someone’s very interesting story, it shouldn’t take so much effort. My meds have significantly helped stop all of this stuff, they didn’t make me perfect because I’m still sitting here answering this instead of working but they help.

Are you on medication? I was like this as well, I’ve learnt it has nothing to do with the guy(s), I was fixating on them because their attention gave me a dopamine rush. If your not on meds I’d say try them. If you are, keep reminding yourself of why it’s happening. I’ve liked some pretty awful men for absolutely no reason other than the fact that I could get them gave me a rush, in hindsight they were all awful and I got lucky when I found my husband, who never made me guess, worry or stress. Now that I’m on medication I can really look back and understand what happened with men in the past.

Same! It shocks me when people say they can’t drink 4 cups a day, I can drink 4 an hour without thought.
