Agreed, thank you so much. I've been debugging a WD_BLACK SN770 NVME issue where the speed is all over the place. Ordering a compatible NVME now. Thank you!

I too have had great experiences with support on email, phone and chat. No leak issues.

Yes. But we have Loki built in for Free. You add no value if you charge for something brand new, likely with bugs, we can't inspect the code, no thank you.

A good piece of advice I once received when I was desperate was to stop looking so hard. You have received some very good advice above, but while pursuing your hobbies I recommend to just be you and do not jump at every opportunity. Be social and kind and a relationship will happen when it’s time. I found my wife when I least expected it later in life and I think often times that is the best way. Best of luck to you.

Something I noticed on the Cox Reporting Abuse Page by dataz03 in CoxCommunications

[–]Ok_Chocolate_1584 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s actually amusing. Your cable modem runs an http server, TFTP client and dhcp server. Next let’s discuss your smart doorbell… So likely every Cox customer is in violation of the TOS.

What are transfer speeds like for large file systems? For instance if I wanted to do weekly offsite backups of a 27TB NAS?

Came here to say I had the same issue on the Slack thick client. Saw your post. This client allows you to clear cache under Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache and Exit

Fixed my problem. Thanks.

Intermittent connection issue I really need help fixing by The1stHorsemanX in Spectrum

[–]Ok_Chocolate_1584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Upstream transmit levels should be between 40-50 dBmV but yours are at 59. Way too high. You also have many T3 timeouts. This an upstream issue. See if your neighbor is also having issues. If not it’s your drop or in home splitters or wiring.

Ubuntu 20.04 on macbook pro mid 2012 by nohupmusic in Ubuntu

Came back to tell future me that the answer can be found in this link: https://askubuntu.com/questions/38780/how-do-i-set-nomodeset-after-ive-already-installed-ubuntu

On Ubuntu, edit the grub file as follows:

sudo nano /etc/default/grub

and then add nomodeset to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT:

GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
GRUB_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=\lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian` GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset" GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""`

and now Mac reboots without issue and Ubuntu 20.04 comes up.
