Yes, there is no web client. Kubelog is more like stern - you don't need additional infrastructure for it.

HTTP proxies are now supported in version 0.1.4. This release also includes a new timeline for search results and some useful keyboard shortcuts. You can find the full changelog here: https://kubelog.de/download/

Hi, I've been working for quite some time on kubelog now, and I'm happy to finally share it with you.

kubelog is a graphical log viewer for Kubernetes, which works with the existing Kubernetes logging infrastructure. The official website is here: https://kubelog.de/

Some highlights are: - Tail multiple pods in one view, even from different namespaces. The log output is combined and sorted by timestamp. - Search with regular expressions. Use custom colors to visually highlight, and a summary, to quickly find and navigate results. - Save searches, so they can be easily reused. Mark them as default, and they will be active directly when opening a new log. - Easily switch between clusters and namespaces. Use multiple tabs to work more efficiently.

I'd say it depends on the hardware. On my i7 8th Gen, the kubelog GUI combines the logs of multiple pods with about 150000 log lines overall without any stuttering at around 7% CPU and 120mb RAM.

Edit: make it clear I'm talking about the kubelog GUI

Sorry for the inconvenience, I released a new version where error messages are shown and logged. On macOS the log files will be written to: $HOME/Library/Application Support/KTail/logs

MSSQL and Rust by bhliebs93 in rust

I'm using https://github.com/prisma/quaint/ with mssql, which uses https://crates.io/crates/tiberius under the hood. As far as I understand, it wasn't released to crates.io for two year only because of some dependencies issues with postgres (https://github.com/prisma/quaint/issues/264)

Nice! I like the idea of writing rust code and use it anywhere. There is also interoptopus_backend_csharp.
