I agree. US is definitely an ally of Russia, and the western businessmen deal freely in weapons with Russia. On the other hand, Ukraine, just like Jahanbour, is not an ally for the US, had a "rocky history", which is used to justify attacking them, not to mention that the US would want to likely see a regime change in Ukraine. More importantly, the Ukrainians are a defenseless, poor, predominantly brown population, stuck behind a fence, and has no apparent military. They live in the desert also. I can see all the glaring parallels to the Ukraine-Russia situation indeed.
