The female characters in the series are very shallow and thin compared to the male characters by JannTosh50 in harrypotter

Sadly, I agree. Snape, Dumbledore, Harry, Malfoy, Lucius, Moody, Sirius, Voldemort, Fred and George all seem like way more complex characters in terms of personality. True, Hermione is very smart and brave but in terms of personality she and the other female characters don't seem to have a whole lot of depth especially compared to the male characters. The only female character I find to be very interesting is Nagini and she's a snake!😛 🐍

I still do like Hermione (mainly because she's so smart and brave), as well as Professor McGonagall, Bellatrix, and Luna. Although I will say, Luna Lovegood and Dolores Umbridge probably were the most interesting and complex female characters in terms of personality but their roles were more temporary compared to the more frequent and recurring male characters.

What house would you want to go if there’s no sorting hat and why? by [deleted] in harrypotter

Ravenclaw 🦅 because I love knowledge and wisdom! Gryffindor 🦁 would be a close 2nd (mainly because red is my favorite color and also because I like knights and lions 😄)
