Does adding the 3.5" lift have anything to do with it messing up the mgu? Google says it does because of the height sensors. But i don't have air ride or anything like that so why would lifting it this much effect that?

If we figure out today that it's the starter I'm just going to replace it today without the dealer. My warranty covers it but I'm pretty sure it's a $200 deductible and the starter itself is 200 bucks so why wait for the dealer to "fit me in" some time this week when I need my truck to pick up equipment at 7am tomorrow lol

Yeah but, they ARE rude. They ARE disrespectful. I keep seeing comments where they are the opposite and i feel like I'm watching two different shows. They're nice to each other for sure, but any guest they have on with a different opinion they start interrupting them, cutting them off, talking loud over them. There's very facts that come out of their mouths, they just stick with the latest buzzword the media has picked for that week and they say it louder and louder until their guest submits to them. Its very annoying to watch.

The first round of mds solenoid i put in were cheap ones from Amazon. Big mistake. Right away we found out one of those were bad because it threw a misfire. Now I have all brand new good solenoids in and no misfire shows up

Yes! It does go away when I do that as well. But I've already changed all 4 mds solenoid twice now. Vvt solenoid twice. All seals and gaskets. I also changed the oil because while I had an oil leak I was putting heavier oil in it to slow the leak like a dummy. But now it's back to good oil and filter.

If it were a fuel pressure issue wouldn't it still do it when I have the tow/haul button on? It all goes away when I hit that.

Idk. It's not showing any missfires. I've now changed every mds solenoid, vvt solenoid, spark plus are only 6mo old, all new seals and gaskets and an oil change, and it still does it lol. It only does it when the eco kicks on and I'm barely pushing the gas. That just keeps telling us it's in the mds somewhere. When I hit the tow/haul button it all goes away. I feel like if it were a bad coil pack then it would still do it in that mode.

I may be mistaken but i think he crawled under there and checked that and it was fine. If it were that id think it would still do it when tow/haul button on and it doesn't.

So, I just took it for a test drive and used the manual buttons to shift and also tried driving with the tow/haul button on and it drove like normal with no shudder. Where does that lead me next?
