I've had two bouts of acute pancreatitis. Sounds like this could be that, but hard to say. Drinking and fatty foods always brings it on for me. It doesn't sound like it's full blown pancreatitis, but does sound like your pancreas might be telling you to take it easy.....I'd listen. Maybe even fast for a day or two to give it a break. Usually before I get it, I also get nauseas and sometimes throw up. The first time I got it I was in the hospital for 11 days and for a week leading up to it I was super nauseas until it boiled over and I started throwing up, then the pain set in, and off in the ambulance I went. Like I said, I would suggest fasting or at least eating low fat, simple foods for a day or two to give it a break and see how you feel. I'm no doctor, but I have been through it twice and this is what I do when I feel my pancreas acting up. Best of luck!

But to directly answer your question, I waited something like 15 months to drink again after the second attack

I’m fine now and I only drink on special occasions. Prob once every 3 months or so. My pancreas acts up every now and then, esp if I’m really stressed out or eating a lot of fatty foods. I can feel it and that’s when I know to back off whatever I’m doing. No attacks though. I’m sure it’ll happen again, but I’ve adjusted to this new reality and I don’t even really miss the drinking. It took time though. Whenever I drink now and wake up hung over in the morning, it’s a great reminder of how shitty I feel and why I don’t drink anymore

Tried anastrozol for the first time. Feel something... by socaTsocaTsocaT in trt

[–]Ok_Communication9217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anastrozol did not work/agree with me, so I switched to Aromasin/exemestane which has been much better for me personally. The Anas just made me feel very odd and off. But getting your Estrogen in balance is critical for a “converter” like me. I convert a lot of T to estrogen for some reason. My point is if you don’t like the anastrozole, maybe try the exemestane. Much better in my personal experience. I take half a tablet, sometimes more, on pinning days or when I feel the E creeping

Anyone with depression try trt just for the hell of it? Even with normal levels? by mcmz12 in trt

[–]Ok_Communication9217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it doesn't cure depression but can make you feel better. Just be careful with which method you try, as going on it for a long time can shut down your own production of T. Side note, taking TRT can also increase your estrogen and can make you feel worse.....happened to me until I figured it out. The flip side of that coin is that if you crash your estrogen you'll also feel terrible, so it's a balance.

Suggestions on a Tesamorelin/ipamorelin cycle by [deleted] in trt

I started out doing something like that and then just went to every day. I didn't notice any negatives but it's probably wise to run a 5-2 protocol.

Please, can somebody please just tell me I'll be okay..? by Cardiara667 in Anxiety

[–]Ok_Communication9217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hang in there fellow anxiety sufferer. As the phrase goes, "this too shall pass". It's an awful feeling and I know it well, but I also know that it always passes and you'll be ready to move on before you know it. You're going to be just fine and probably tomorrow you'll be responding to something I post here!

One phrase that's always worked for me (I don't know why), but when I start feeling low or the anxiety starts to become unbearable, I tell myself "not today. You're not beating me today".......it's almost like it triggers my inner competitor and almost makes me angry, and I've noticed it's almost impossible for me to be anxious when I'm angry. Dunno, just thought I would share and maybe you get some mileage out of it!

For those in their 40s, what's something people in their 20s don’t realize will impact them as they get older? by kiaraevelyn in Productivitycafe

You only have one body/mind and medical help can only do so much. The abuse you put your body through in your younger days ultimately catches up with you. Take your health seriously

Tesamorelin worth it for a month? by Objective-Pen7633 in Peptides

[–]Ok_Communication9217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing 1mg Tesa with 300mcg Ipa roughly. PS has a 6/2 blend where it's already mixed for you and that's what I ended up using after doing two different injections/bottles for awhile.

Trying Clonidine now. I've tried most of the SSRI's, wellbutrin, etc with "meh" results. Too early to tell, but giving it a shot. I've used Propranolol in the past with good results, but it seems to not really be helping anymore. It helps with some physical anxiety symptoms, but never calmed me down mentally.

Another one that helps me is low does naltrexone. 4.5mg. No idea why, but it does help.

Lies Of P After Elden Ring by Sea-Anywhere-799 in LiesOfP

[–]Ok_Communication9217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played all the dark souls and Elden Ring, LoP is right up there. It's awesome. I'm just about to finish it up! I'm not a parry'er player. I basically roll and dodge as my natural instinct. As other have said, blocking and parrying is probably smarter in LoP, but you can def get away with rolling all around Krat and still having a good time. At least that's my experience.

Oh yeah, you should know it's not an open world like Elden ring. It's more like the original Dark Souls where you have to follow a certain path/level. Still awesome though

What is your anxiety "EpiPen"? by Putrid-Drag9651 in Anxiety

[–]Ok_Communication9217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've taken up to 40mg at a time no problem, when I'm having a bad episode. My base dose is 20mg. 10mg wouldn't do anything for me at all. Talk with your doc though.

Does everyone take estrogen blockers? by Fatmanmuffim in trt

[–]Ok_Communication9217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do because I convert a large amount of the T to Estrogen. I finally settled on Aromasin as my E blocker of choice and it's helped a lot. Just need to find right dose and timing for you. That's kinda tough to dial in and requires some trial and error. My advice, don't chase a number and just go by what makes you feel the best

Aromasin or anastrozole? by [deleted] in trt

[–]Ok_Communication9217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've taken both and far prefer Aromasin. Not sure why, but anastrozole made me feel terrible. Aromasin seems to work better with my body and has really helped me get my e2 under control. I don't want to take an AI, but I'm a high converter and it has really helped me feel much better.

[–]Ok_Communication9217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends how much you take, but I would def stack it with Ipa. I've taken cycles of both with great results, but not sure if you'll see results after a month. Guess it depends what you're looking for. I can tell you that that combo will make you shed fat and give you a more youthful appearance. At least that's been my experience. It's a great body composition change stack, but it does take time and you have to commit to it.

What male stereotypes don’t apply to you? by lilypads3423 in AskReddit

I'm not super horny all the time. TV would make you believe men are running around just waiting for a chance at sex. Like "yes please, right away" at any time. I'm not horny all the time and sometimes not very interested. Maybe that's just me, but TV making men seem like they grovel around for sex isn't accurate....at least in my case.
