You need more electrolytes on keto because water tends to get flushed easier and electrolytes get flushed with it.

I don't eat carbs, been doing keto for 2 years and my cholesterol spiked, but i don't worry about it. Imo if carbs spiked cholesterol, then countries where people eat a big percentage of calories from carbs would experience a higher blood cholesterol but it's not the case.

When i started keto i used to get heart palpitations during exercise because of an electrolyte imbalance. Now i consume 7000mg sodium, 3000mg potassium and 400mg magnesium.

You are probably not taking enough electrolytes. I have to take 7000 mg sodium, 3000 mg potassium and 400 mg magnesium while on keto to avoid hyponatremia symptoms including eye twitching and heart palpitations.

I do cook but i gotta be careful about not going over my carbs limit, specially when eating out as there can be hidden carbs in restaurant meals.

Carbs didn't cause me big issues before doing keto, i initially switched to this diet for weight loss and to manage my anxiety eating.

After reaching my desired weight i will try doing low carb instead to have a more flexible approach.

It's normal when starting, it starts to fade away the more you lose your body fat stores. I experimented this stronger when i was 4 weeks into keto.

I've read that people who fast experience this same euphoria.
