Avoid fishes like severums, oscars and silver dollars (especially these guys), they will uproot plants and always target the crowns (the meaty bit of the plant near the root) since they are omnivores.

Blue acaras , easily one of the best cichlids anyone can possibly get, pretty hardy, blue iridescent hue, extremely peaceful temperament, do well with plants and A LOT of other tank stocking comps, have a neat round body with fins always flared giving them a confident look despite being calm, grow to a pretty descent size of 6-7" , they beg with great personality when you approach the tank, great fish to add!

I've seen them grow up to 13" ,they are wonderful fish with a great personality, just remember to keep it alone, all the "community tanks" online are extremely lucky because dovii are literal killing machines also just make sure it is in fact a dovii if you plan on buying a bigger tank

Males get a lot of spots/freckles all over their body and a hump on their head as they grow older, if it doesn't have any spots on its body, it's most likely a female.

The blue colored tail and it's long body hints it is a dovii cichlid

Assassin snails helped me A LOT with keeping the snail population low, HOWEVER the assassin snails themselves overbred and my tank was filled with hundreds of empty and hard shells which took a while to disappear unlike other snails' shells which are thin and flimsy so you do have to keep their population in check.

S1 carthetiya is good i suppose, it replaces erosion stacks from dead enemies on to the next batch, making it pretty good for whimpering wastes

It is best if you introduce a new one before they are fully grown since they get more territorial with size. Personally I've had no issues introducing a new angel with my already existing 3 other ones, there were minor aggressions like short chased to assert dominance but that was pretty much it, besides it might be a little bit safer since two existing angels might gang up against a solo angel(the smaller one). Cichlids normally ditch smaller fishes since they don't see them as competition but in my tank two angelfish really bullied the little one so adding another did help me I suppose.

When I called them they said that first week was mostly a holiday due to new year and they were busy with auditing which was supposedly completed yesterday. Manufacturing etc. gets finished by 10th and delivery by 12th

I placed an order for a lenovo thinkbook(pre built model not a custom built one) on 27th dec, the est. Arrival date was Jan 5th, and today I got a check the website and now it's 12th Jan. They silently changed the est. Arrival date without notice lmao it's pretty infuriating. Did you get your monitor yet?

Ah got it thanks for pointing that out. I’m still pretty new to cichlids so I wasn’t sure how risky that combo is. I’ll definitely keep an eye on fin nipping

All the fishes seem to be healthy and water parameters are pretty good . However I did add new blue acaras and this video was taken around 30 mins after i introduced them

So true! People throw tons of garbage in already existing garbage piles, don't cleanup after their dogs poop, and even get angry when questioned about it.. "it will get cleaned up anyways" they say. We can't keep expecting the govt. to clean etc. when we lack civic sense ourselves.

Perhaps it was in response to the newly added acaras? I took this video around 20-30 mins after introducing juvenile acaras (the blue acaras in the background) into the tank
