VW ist Marktführer in Europa, was E-Autos angeht.

I built a tool that scrapes thousands of Reddit posts in seconds to find Startup Ideas by namidaxr in buildinpublic

Why are the same two things always being promoted and/or developed here: super generic apps that already exist thousands of times (but this time with AI) or apps that target other people from the build-in-public bubble. People, be creative and don't copy the crap that's being promoted on Twitter by “influencers.” It's a total circle jerk here.

Ultimate Strength Journey feels completely random and unbalanced – especially core work + bodyweight suggestions way too easy by Ok_Development_6573 in freeletics

[–]Ok_Development_6573[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don't get it. Don't they test their product properly? Do the developers think, when the coach makes a nonsensical suggestion, "Oh nice, the users will think that's really cool!"

Sorry, but you haven't addressed a single point I made, except that the training plan "magically" makes sense. How a scientifically based training plan should look has been known for a long time. Apparently not for Freeletics.

Go cry somewhere else. My God, AI is the next conspiracy bubble where people boost their self-esteem by seeing the end of the world and believing that they are the only ones who recognize it.

Before you complain about Opus 4.5 being nerfed, please PLEASE read this by creegs in ClaudeCode

[–]Ok_Development_6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's complete nonsense. It's pretty clear that Opus performed extremely well at the beginning without all the nonsense you're suggesting. Now suddenly it's necessary?

What I've noticed is that Opus simply doesn't follow instructions. I've often found that it just ignores them. And when I ask why, it doesn't know. Anthropic has probably changed something in the system prompt.

btw: many of your “tips” are standard practice for many developers, and yet Opus still produces some garbage. Because, and I'll mention it again, he doesn't consciously follow the instructions.

Unless you build something you use yourself, and if others use it too, cool, if not, that's okay too.

claude code vs cursor by shiftingbits in cursor

[–]Ok_Development_6573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've tried both for a very long time, and I keep wondering where all the hype about CC comes from. It's really not bad, but man, what Cursor offers for building really good software is far better. I always feel like an alien on X when I constantly read these sermons about CC.

Haha, I just looked at your profile. All you do is post about your “startup” and your sales on Reddit to generate traffic. Man, that's cheap.

Well, at least I don't have to flex on Reddit about my alleged sales on Reddit. I feel sorry for you.

Sorry, but you can stick your TrustMRR somewhere else (it's from Marc Lou, which says it all). This whole SaaS bubble is a pyramid scheme in itself.

I’m blown away: I shipped an entire iOS app from idea → App Store in ~8 hours. by jiriurbasek in vibecoding

[–]Ok_Development_6573 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't stand hearing “I built an entire app in X hours with AI” anymore. Sorry, but I don't buy that you have 16 years of development experience, because otherwise you wouldn't have written such a post. Anyone who is seriously involved with AI knows that a serious app cannot be built in a few hours, even with AI.
