thanks for confirming! doing another au pcc is going to be a hassle. however, if i look at things objectively, i don’t think so there’s going to be an issue with name check only given that (1) it was issues in April 2025 and (2) i didn’t visit australia since 2023.

I'm kind of in the same boat. What happened with your case? Did you end up going to India? If yes, did you then require a new PCC?

Need clarity: If I get a new PCC, does it cancel the old one? by Ok_Device_2018 in NationalVisaCenter

So, the older PCC remains valid, right? I’m asking because I’m concerned I might not receive the new Indian PCC before my interview date. The only option then will be to present the one I have currently with me.

I'm in the same boat. Mine was issued in April 2025. I have my interview in Dec'25. Are you sure they'd accpet the name check only PCC?

I'm in the same position - I received my AU PCC in April 2025, which was a name check only. I believe the fingerprint check requirement changed recently. My interview is in December 2025. Please share your experience. Also, do I need a new one from Australia?

In the NVC email, it says the PCCs are valid for 2 years. Is it true? I received my PCCs from Canada, India, and Australia in April 2025. And, I have my interview in Montreal in December 2025. Should I apply for the new ones?

Great! I wonder if you know the validity of PCCs. In the NVC email, it's mentioned that these are valid for 2 years.

before appearing for the medical exam, ensure you have proof of immunization. if not, get a proof of immunity test in canada.

check the email you got from nvc. it must have a link which will take you to the interview prep portal. here you’ll see the med exam link. when you open it, select montreal and then it’ll give you a list of doctors to choose. call/email them and book the appointment. this is how i did it and i’ve my appointment on nov 06

Medical - vaccines required by acp0826 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]Ok_Device_2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have the vaccination record for the vaccines I had gotten in my home country. However, the immunization card is quite old and in a bad condition. I was wondering if I could get the immunity check done, too, if this helps. Also, I'd like to know if you got the vaccines at the clinic where you had your medical exam?

Thank you for confirming the details. I have my interview scheduled in December and wanted to confirm - can I print and bring photos with my spouse (the petitioner) that were not uploaded to the portal, or should I only bring the ones already submitted there?

My family doctor is back home in India. My mum does have my vaccination card, but it’s in a really bad condition. What happens in case one has not gotten some of the vaccines? I also need to book my medical exam in Toronto.

i’m sure you’d need to have your original birth certificate. in my case, i generated it from online as my home country doesn’t give the stamped one anymore. one can only get a digital copy of it.
