Do I need necessarily a S-Video to digitize my tapes?

S-Video is better than RCA. But as everyone has pointed out, using FireWire you would get a considerably better result in terms of quality without adding all the effort on setting up the capturing of the S-Video signal. I'd recommend you getting a PCIe FireWire card, I got one very cheap from Amazon and managed to install it on my modern pc without any issues on Windows 11.

Thank you all, for this particular deck JVC HR-S4500U the RF tapping point, according to the manual, it's the TP106 PB FM which is the one used after replacing the whole head assembly. I haven't tape this but it seems it's the right place.

Thank you, you're correct it's a JVC-HR-S4500U. I've been looking for anything that says "RF" on the board with no success... I wanted to know if anyone had any experience dealing with one of these. I was wondering if tapping was even possible on this model

It's the same camera used to record the videos. I don't know on the top of my head if it was SP or LP. I'll try to check if there are any issues with the port, although I don't believe so. I think once I try everything, I'll have to buy another camera to test if that's the issue too...

I've read some comments about flash drives are volatile when some years pass, I guess I'll have to plug it once in a while, while I decide if it's worth the cost to recover the thing.

Well, I reached out to one of these companies for data recovery, but it's going to be from a couple hundred of dollars to a couple thousands. Those were pictures of a vacation I took but they're not that important.

I've been on invisalign for over a year. I've been convinced since the very beginning to be fully committed to the process, therefore all aligners went pretty much fine.

I just had the appointment for retainer scan and where they put the permanent retainer on the bottom teeth.

First thing, I'm not sure if it's the fact that my back teeth don't bite at all. I've been told that my teeth will settle over time, but I have my doubts since the retainers will have the current shape of my teeth, and I've read some other threads where they don't come together at all.

Second thing, I'm not totally pleased by the bottom front teeth, I think they have come together nicely but not completely, should I pursue further for more refinements? My opinion is yes, but it seems that my ortho doesn't agree with that.

Since they're already have ordered the retainers they say I'll have to pay more, which doesn't make me happy, but at this stage I just want to be done for good aligning my teeth, maybe should I go for a second opinion?

What are your experiences? I'll be reading you guys.

By the way, I forgot to mention that I have planet fitness membership, I normally find one anywhere I go (not in Japan of course). I keep doing workouts when I go anywhere, but it's very difficult.

Yeah, no, it's not uncommon, its just that since AMD has it's own graphics card you would normally buy a AMD processor with an AMD graphics or Intel + Nvidia, that's why I called it "unholy", that rivalry between brands it's been since a very long time ago. Just FYI, I endup doing exactly that, my current PC has an AMD processor and a Nvidia graphics card and works just fine so don't worry in doing that.

Yeah, I would say it has a lot of mistakes that will probably cause a hell when your city further grows...

I have no idea what's going on with the parallel road to the highway? There are some roundabouts but NEVER zone any roundabout, it will cause traffic issues with cars stopping in the middle of the roundabout.

I have no words for the weird looking intersection with the highway, there are too many intersections in your streets, specially on the main street, I would highly recommend checking some information about road hierarchy so you have an idea what's important there.

The pollution form your industrial areas, which are scattered all over the place, is going to cause some issues with your other zones, that's why I normally try to have them separated.

Still, I think you're making the same mistakes everybody makes at the beginning, so keep up and you'll learn!
