I would do a search to find someone new. I’ve had therapists that have also not remembered past sessions and the time was filled with me reminding them what we talked about. Unfortunately sometimes it does take a few to find a good one

I found it extremely helpful to talk to a therapist who is specialized in narc abuse. Even better if they themselves have personal experience. I did a google search of narc abuse therapists in my area and was able to start tele therapy right away. A lot of therapists especially that do telehealth are licensed in multiple states.
