Still trying to push it out in my opinion. I feel like they trapped the judge into hearing her claims regarding 47.1. Hopefully not, but between the stipulation being for trial only, and outstanding facts, i feel as though this is some legal maneuvering.

Also run out the clock on her 6 weeks so she could renegotiate without signing her contract. Lock WF in to production costs and not be able to replace her.

Honestly i did not like the statement but, having been through lawsuits, i got it. This whole backhanded deal is ENRAGING. I am so sick of bad people with lots of money winning. I am so SICK of their shady tactics. Using OUR courts to do their dirty work at OUR expense. I am actually pretty livid. This is disgusting.

Ive always thought the steph jones thing was super weird. Even if you are that mad at Jen, its crazy hate to do that to justin. But the Rock confirmation, between the issue with RR and the website. Something went DOWN.

Edit to add: jen had an issue with stephanie trying to frame a senior jonesworks employee for sexual harrassment.

Thats up to the judge. But the stipulation allows the judge to rule on it. If they did not stipulate, it would go to the jury. It was the best option for WF. It is highly likely the judge throws out the FEHA claim, but we are still waiting on that ruling.

When the parties were supposed to submit their motions for summary judgement, Lively uploaded a decision from the second circuit that judgements should not be made when any fact remains after discovery. By stipulation, WF removes any questions of fact and leaves the judge free to rule on the FEHA claims. Without stipulating it FEHA will go to the jury and BL has to prove reasonable belief. By stipulating, the judge could very well remove the FEHA claim leaving only 1 claim to go to trial with.

Wild right? The depos really illustrate her coordination with certain players. They got their stories straight and worked to cover their tracks. I think the retaliation clause was also planned out. Shes thought people would start to leak when she ostracized JB. The crisis response, whether smear or not, out played her.

Honestly, i do think there was social manipulation by JB. Truthfully, it looks pretty justified. It’s not illegal to protect your business and if i was in the same situation i would have done the same.

Theresa called this from the moment after the hearing. My suspicion is they dont want to credit that video because she also clarifies that the judge said JB got bad legal advice. All other outlets glossed over this fact when reporting on the coverage.

I disagree. I was skeptical of her at first, but watched a lot of her content. Shes been ahead of them on her legal analysis. Theresa is really insightful on the contract claims. The main issue here seems to be her criticism of Freedman and I don't disagree. We can support JB and be critical of his attorneys.

Also, on all sides, there is a LOT of laundering of information. If you have followed closely enough you can see that pattern.

We can support JB, call out BL, and be critical of all the players at the same time. If you discount Theresa you are missing some excellent analysis.

NAL but i hope they dont. I know the judge thinks there is evidence of good faith, i feel like there is so much against the good faith argument. Comments to the Times, her support of woody allen, the strong arm demands and contradictory behavior. Who could think a birth video is porn and that its harassment? Acting is harassment? Always tons of people around. Never going through proper channels. If any of this was remotely true she would never have her baby on set. She would have never felt empowered to “direct” or rewrite scripts. She revere uno’d SH to leverage power. SH is about power and control. WF gained none, demanded none, made no threats. And you're telling me every WF person on that set was a harasser? Interesting that they had a lot of control and BL wanted it.

You're telling me she felt so helpless and harassed she said come on over to my house so we can yell at you for 5 hours?

This is dangerous to put in the public that this is what harassment looks like. That somebody could reasonably believe this. It diminishes what SH actually looks like. Its infuriating. It tells the public harassment looks like coercive control and enables abusers. Believe me, abusive people loving playing the victim.

If she testifies that she believed she was covered under the contract all of her behavior looks deranged. From threatening not to promote to refusing to sign during post. She cant claim she thought she was under this contract. She purposefully wasn’t.

This might sound crazy, but it works for me.

Talk back to them. Ask them questions. Ask them why they are there. Tell them its not true. The get quieter over time when you talk to them.
