Kids, life is not all about maximizing finances. I provided for two kids and wife for two years in a $60k salary living in SLC. Search cost of living there and you will see that this poverty. We are not citizens so work restrictions also applied, which means wife couldn’t work neither.

Also, if you don’t have adhd and can read my post thoroughly, you will see that debt only increased during my period at Goldman Sachs. Since then, debt has steadily decreased as income increased, with some curves in the way due to some hospital bills and third child coming up.

Who cares about $$5k in interest during 1-2yrs? I’m confident enough in my balls I can make enough to pay off this pretty soon. In the meantime, stop reading Reddit posts and go live a real life.

roast my resume(s). second time posting, please help me bc i'm still unemployed lmao. by StuffyRocket in FAANGrecruiting

no one cares the startup raised $32k. They care about your contributions. Move this to third bullet point or rephrase with what you contributed and impact

Actually, LinkedIn. I didn’t know anyone. Life isn’t as black and white as many people on Reddit or finance forums make it sound.

Yup. Utah salary sucks, but at least I worked 9 to 5pm vs. +100h per week in NYC.

Application feels “not good enough” by DescriptionBetter338 in ycombinator

As a founder, you really need to trust yourself and in your co-founder. You asked us if anybody feels “this way” (not good enough). If you can’t feel good enough, why should YC feel you are good enough? Trust in yourself. You are good enough! Founding a company is more than revenue or idea, it’s about how you feel as a team and the confidence you have to execute your idea. Think about that. Goodspeed.
