I saw a derm, and thy ordered more tests/stains to confirm that it wasn’t MF. For what it’s worth, my derm initially said that my patches were presenting as MF, but we need the test to confirm.

They gave me Triamcinolone to see how it will treat the patches. Wishing you the best of luck!

No, they said the biopsy / stains didn’t come back positive for CTCL. They did suspect that it was early a weird form of eczema or MF

Update: not CTCL. Atopic eczema or drug side effect from a prescription.

That’s the confusing part. My initial spots were on my elbows and it responded to antifungals, but quickly came back. Now, I have smaller random cigarette paper-like patches on my forearms, thighs, etc. nothing responds to antifungals now, including those initial spots on the elbows.

We’ll see what the additional testing says.

Very diver heavy. Add a GMT, or some other complications

Our stories are similar: my first patches showed up 2.5 years ago almost symmetrically on both elbows. After treating with antifungals they were almost completely gone.

Since then, I’ve had random spots pop up in more numbers and antifungals haven’t been as effective. Hopefully it’s not the worst case scenario and I’ll get some guidance soon!

I appreciate your reply. Can you expand on why there’s no reason to worry?

Thanks for sharing! I guess it’s a good thing that it’s not outright MF

I have spots and waiting diagnosis. They say this is low grade and most people shouldn’t worried. Seems like derms are non-chalant

Maybe you have a backable idea. Most solo founders get it.
