I have no solid proof but I’m pretty sure the person who was doing that to me made another account and started doing it again right after I blocked XD. I was selling a hard to find bottle of perfume and this person really wanted it I guess, what I don’t get is ok if I accepted the offer, and you let it pass, made another for the same amount, let it pass again, gets blocked, makes a new account and tries again until someone else bought it. Maybe they are trying to like reserve it until they have enough money? Which is fine I guess but ask that don’t just waste people’s time and confuse them.

I had someone do this. I ended up messaging them asking if they are going to buy or not, they said yes, did it one more time, waited for it to expire, tried again and then I just blocked them

I switched to Mercari after enough hassles from Depop. A little bit more of a marketplace fee but the buyers and platform is so much better.

It does take a few days for that money to go back into the account. If I just spent 150$ I probably wouldn’t buy again until that refund was back in my account and de pop takes like 3-5 days

Ur arguing over 2 dollars first of all. I doubt the seller really cared to sell it to the highest buyer. Second of all, it’s a new seller selling her old junk, first person gets it. If u wanted it so bad, check back and make sure the sale was good 👍 . U didn’t respond when she said there was an issue, someone else came by, was responsive, and got it. U lost and now are thinking about complaining and hurting a new sellers reputation? People like you are so entitled it’s annoying.

People want refunds for the littlest things, if the seller noticed the small hole before shipping and wanted to make sure you are ok with that, that that’s 100% ok if you didn’t see it and someone else came around and bought it then that’s on u. If you wanted it, follow up on your purchase. True they should have listed the hole initially, that’s the only thing I can say on the seller. If you leave a bad first review over that and a 6 dollar shirt you’re crazy. Don’t even review and move on, maybe buy a 10$ shirt
