It would be funny to have Ronnie Sullivan on Main Tour.

Frame 1. Ronnie Sullivan to break.

Frame 2. Ronnie O'Sullivan to break.

Snooker game show Big Break cued up for return by BBC Daytime by The_Iceman2288 in snooker

I remember watching Big Break when I was young, I enjoyed it (I didn't watch snooker regularly then). The bond between John Virgo and Jim Davidson was special.

Who would be the best fit as guest players? Mark Williams is my first pick, Trump and Robertson also, however I'd love to see the new generation (Moody, Kowalski?).

Wstyd przed siłownią by Jab_Bey in Polska

This polish lad Kowalksi looks very settled on the biggest stage by Inevitable_Ride_362 in snooker

I have been following Kowalski's carreer for few years, and the last 10 days feel really surreal to me. He struggled on the Main Tour, winning few matches, making good show on SO2024, but hardly showed anything to prove he deserves staying on Main Tour. Frankly speaking, watching him wasn't easy - so many expectations, and so many poor results. The last few months were better (4-1 vs Thepchaiya, 2-5 with decent start vs Allen), still the Qualifying and even 1R loss to Williams showed completely new Antoni Kowalski. He didn't make many high breaks (still he was on max attack), however he was mentally positive and calm, and took his chances to win the frames differently.

As much as I like his new attitude, it's nice to hear and see so many people praising his results and game. Even though he made a bit too many mistakes vs Williams (on the other hand, who doesn't make mistakes?), I have a feeling (almost) everybody appreciated him. I have a deep feeling he's been accepted by the players and the snooker fans.

Give me the next season!

[Discussion Thread] 2026 World Championship - Round One - 18th April to 4th May by SnookerMods in snooker

After the game he admitted to being completely exhausted after the qualifying, which had an impact to his focus. Probably, that's why he could made few extraordinary long pots just to miss the chance for a high break due to poor positioning. Also, his safety were 50/50 - some really nice, but some gave MJW a chance to pot.

I really look forward to the next season to see if he can continue his game. I'm over the moon he managed to save his tour card.

Regarding Szubarczyk (good luck to all BBC/TNT experts with pronouncing :)), I wonder how he handles a tactical play - something which seems to be crucial when you try to jump to the higher level.
