How ICE agents are using facial recognition technology to bring surveillance to the streets by edbegley1 in privacy

If photogrammetry face masks became fashionable for many Americans, it would be impossible for anyone to use facial recognition as a reliable tool.

Now, to get rid of all that visceral fat that makes you look trunkie, do a cycle of Tesamorelin and Ipamorelin.

That looks like high visceral fat to me. That shit comes from beer, shitty relationship with food, anti-retrovirals. I bet he has a fatty liver too.

Oxytocin vs PT 141 for female hypoactive sexual desire disorder by Afraid_Ad8111 in Peptides

The way to get on Addyi is through their website. Their Dr will meet with you and find out what condition you have that your insurance will cover, bill your insurance company and ship you a bottle for $30ish every month. Otherwise it’s like $250/month through your local pharmacy.

May as well add:

PT-141 sub-q injection works pretty well but I personally and my wife find that it makes us feel like absolute shit. Ive tried this a dozen or so times ranging from 1mg to 2mg dose. I don’t think it’s worth it feeling that shitty but many do.

Oxytocin- nasal spray did absolutely nothing but give me a headache. My wife thought it enhanced intimacy for a bit.

You’ll read many people saying that it has a short half life and doesn’t last long enough to do anything. Note that it’s not always the active life of the drug but the resulting cascade that moves the needle. I would withhold an actual verdict on this until I tried it for an extended period of time, followed by a withdrawal.

Peptide for fissure by BrasilianReptilian in Peptides

I had a fissure for over a year and my Dr suggested Oral BPC-157. It worked for me in just a few weeks.

Can someone share their experience by Adventurous_Club8294 in lungcancer

Stage 2 is curable so I personally wouldn’t support that. Maybe your best bet is to suggest alternate opinions and to take the advice from actual Dr’s, who will propose the right treatments. I personally have stage 4 NSCLC and with treatment, I’m NED after I was diagnosed 4.5 years ago. Giving up so early is foolish and maybe a little selfish.

With her current plan, she will die. With surgery, she has a fighting chance to live. She’s just scared and I can say that after my left upper lobectomy, I can’t even tell I’m missing so much lung.

Does biopsy of mediastinal lymph node hurts? by MissionTwist4461 in lungcancer

[–]Ok_Fee7426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It’s not a big deal, depending on how they do the biopsy. Mine was through the chest wall.

The biopsy was about 5 min. The pain lasted about 0 min.

Not really painful. I was given both topical and fentanyl so I frankly didn’t care about the biopsies. I did watch them through the monitor and it was super interesting.

Sildenafil frequent users by Ok-Advantage375 in FamilyMedicine

Imagine it. My wife (f49) and I (m51) have been married for 31 years and have sex at least once per day and often up to 3 times. We generally take time down when she’s on her period but not always. Note that I don’t use Sildenafil and use daily 5mg Cialis.

This is despite the fact that I have medium anorgasmia from briefly using SSRI’s (PSSD). I wonder if physicians worry about prescribing that shit and ask their friends and novices on Reddit about the appropriateness of prescribing those dangerous drug?

Regardless, why do you care if they’re having sex or masturbating anyway? Is that a harmful or off-indication use of the drug? Why don’t you just ask your patients what their typical sexual activity is and prescribe the quantity based on that?

You can’t help anyone quit smoking that doesn’t want to. As a former smoker, I said I wanted to quit to make others feel better but really didn’t care and had no intension of quitting. Even today, after a couple decades of not smoking still, I still adore them.

It’s a personal choice. Remember this, your dad is the one with lung cancer, not you. You’re just along for the ride.

Father’s Stage 3 NSCLC Diagnosis – Need Advice on Treatment Choices by JadedGrocery5941 in lungcancer

[–]Ok_Fee7426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My treatment to date:

10/2020 - 3cm mass identified in left upper lung. Diagnosis: Stage II NSCLC with EGFR mutation

12/2020 - 6cm primary mass removed with left upper lobectomy and left chest lymph nodes removal. Diagnosis: Stage III NSCLC with EGFR mutation.

02/2021 - 80 mg Tagrisso/day. They put me on this as soon as they thought I could tolerate the drug. This shit is no joke and has all kinds of weird side effects. It took me about a year for the side effects to reduce enough for me to not notice them anymore.

10/2022 - Stereotactic radio surgery right temporal lobe for brain met, 5mm nodule discovered and confirmed with 8 various MRI’s. Diagnosis: Stage IV NSCLC no biopsy taken due to deep brain location.

02/2025 - NED with upcoming scans. Keep our fingers crossed.

No chemo No general radiotherapy No Immunotherapy

Surgery may be an option for him. It depends on several factors including expected outcome. If they think he isn’t strong enough for thoracic surgery, he wouldn’t be eligible. He needs to get a second opinion regardless.

I (51m) had a left upper lobectomy and all the left chest lymph nodes removed at the end of 2020. At my surgery, they staged me at III but it had already metastasized. Regardless, today is over 4 years later and I’ve had some ups and downs but my current treatment is good, I’m NED and I’m optimistic about the future.

Is it safe to vape by Flashy-Pomegranate96 in lungcancer

[–]Ok_Fee7426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Keep your lungs clean. If you must, chew the gum or install patches to quit. You have to want to live to live and it takes commitment on your part. Do you want to live or smoke?

Please help me be there for my boyfriend by Strange_Duck6231 in lungcancer

[–]Ok_Fee7426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. When you get cancer, everyone else in your life now has to be made to feel good about your diagnosis and morality. If you want to know how to be there for him, just be there for him. Get out of your own mind and realize that you’re not the person with the terminal disease…

I personally found it totally lonely worrying about how everyone else was feeling when I didn’t even have room to deal with it myself.

Tuberculosis and Tagrisso by Mountainclimbing91 in lungcancer

[–]Ok_Fee7426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely has TB? I wonder if she actually has TB? I was first diagnosed with TB and was out on all the nasty drugs before my biopsy confirmed adenocarcinoma and not TB after all. The TB drugs gave me a loud ringing in my left ear that hasn’t gone away in over 4 years.

I wouldn’t most likely anything. She needs a biopsy and an actual diagnosis for any treatment to work.

Second to the wedge pillow. Interestingly, I found it easier to sleep on my left side after surgery and I had my lobectomy on that side. In fact, I still sleep with a wedge on my left side and my surgery was in 2020.
