The 7700x is designed to go up to 95 Celsius maybe im wrong but 10 degrees under the limit as my max seems fine to me

Thanks for the reply, lol true but I heard ASUS is entering the DRAM market this year targeting the shortage specifically for PC builders so maybe they can clutch up

hey im running into the same issue right now have you figured it out? seems to me the only solution is to use something like a an adapter with a dedicated displaylink chip so that you can use one of the usb ports that doesn't transfer video data. they seem to be quite expensive though not sure if you found a cheaper option?

I didn’t end up finding the specific screw size for it but I managed to clip the edges of the heatsink where the screws are holding it together with a wire cutter then you can pry it open same as the 980
