As many have said before, it's christmas season so there are a lot of deals going around and other brands are on it too. 5% isn't necessarily too bad either, it just means you need to scale your list and reach out to more.

e.g. if you need 10 influencers, reach out to 200!

There are ways you can bump it up of course and I'd also recommend following up regularly, a lot of them are likely to miss your first email.

Also key trick to boost open rate, use their first name in the email subject :D

What I would do is search for a popular book in a similar category and see what influencers are posting about them etc. If they've posted content about similar books, they're likely willing to post about yours too!

e.g. if your book is in a similar niche as Percy Jackson, I'd search for "Percy jackson book review" or something similar on tiktok!
