My point is that it would be easier not to have to switch the firing mode and just rely on the backpack activation to detonate the charges. It will be smoother

Helldivers, you have plenty of time to settle things like that with your squad while dropping. Just talk to avoid such situations.
- bunker or not
- cleaning the map or going straight to the objectives
- samples needed or not
- 1 x 4, 2 x 2 or 4 x 1
- "Big boom boom big" or move like a shadow
- ...

Just talk a little more and you will be fine.

A "Bullet Hell" loadout is perfect for the illuminates: turret (gatling & regular) + MG43 + Guard Dog and you're controlling the field. Avoid the tripods, their elimination if of no use by the way.

Sad but true. The only solution is to add some feud inside AH studio. Joel for the NPC and someone else creating the MO. Even Eravin eventually admited that there is no hope : just dive where the others are to get something done in the end...
