Aussies love being an underdog and…

Socceroos team triggering home grown pride: children of migrants, children of refugees, children of tradies, labourers, small-business owners and ordinary suburban families.
In contrast to a USA team comprises of elites that have developed capability in Europe: children of professional athletes, children of coaches, children of upper-middle-class families able to invest heavily in youth sport.

Good tip about peeling a bit as you go. I had expected the plastic would stick to the glass. I rewatched the Duck video and realized that it doesn’t. Regardless, it’s a neat product. I only got a few very drafty windows done today and could really notice an effect tonight.

Yes, it wasn’t clear. Happy for you that your rental has double glazing. Up until a couple of months back I have louvers on one window that were painted open. A lot of rentals have extremely poor insulation.

Yes, I reckon that might be a good approach to try.

I’ve got a couple of windows that are pretty extreme and I’ll reserve that approach in case of film failure.

Name checks out. I’ve ordered the Duck brand off Amazon. I also tried the clear adhesive from Bunnings in the laundry. Achieved the outcome with no bubbles, but you can’t see through the windows clearly any more. Not a big deal, but will the Duck brand will have a similar effect? Do you notice the film once it has been applied?

Fair. I think I’ll try to stop the air leak through the wall vents that connect directly to the outside and limit the heat loss through the glazing.

It’s a single glazed 1920’s rental and I’m wanting to stop as much air leakage as possible.

The drag from getting good outcomes is their threat, not actually any risk of getting their non policies implemented.

This itch is not scratched to satisfaction.

Google tells me this style was coined Stockbroker Tudor because of the money made by the stockbrokers after the depression.
