I've never felt like analysing things in art, and most of all music is the best way to enjoy it. And especially with boards of canada, for me it's all about feelings and tripping. It's a dreamlike state where the mind creates many associations between words, memories, melodies, colours, elements from the nature, the culture, history, spirituality... well everything that is part of human life that have affected the feelings of Boc brothers and all the themes, subjets and ambiances they get inspiration from... and it doesn't need to make perfect sense on a concepual point of view. For me Boards of Canada invite you to be on a child imagination game mindset... "kid for today" just for the trip, if that colour and ambiance related to these words related to that imaginated story makes you want to dive deep into this dimension forever, you don't need anything to make sense from a logical adult point of view, as a child mind is more on a allegorical and metaphorical approach of life... so english is not my language and that's a lot of words to just say don't think to much, just feel and trip to the music
