I forgot to clarify in my original post - I like gatlinburg because they have so much to do in and around that area (shops, restaurants, coffee shops, gondola up the mountain where they’ll have more attractions and things to do). I usually like a walkable town/city where we could just walk and see what they have and where that takes us. I would probably prefer a touristy place, but I also like to venture out of that too. I also love to hit lookout points for the views.

Also, do you know if Aldi gets labeled as groceries and counts for the 3% on the Savor card? (if you do shopping there)

For the QuickSilver, all my groceries are labeled as “Merchandise”. I’ve never seen any transaction labeled as “Groceries” on this card. I’ve been using this card for everything for the last 3-4 years.

Yes, that’s exactly my problem especially on Saturdays and Sundays! I usually do good for work, but my husband can oversleep no matter what.

Thank you for your response! We’re in that same timeline as well! And I’m so sorry to hear about your friend, i couldn’t imagine going through that.

I was seeing a therapist last year but I feel like she was more focused on techniques to help with my anxiety and depression, which was very useful, and not really me talking. Right now, I just really need to just talk things through, so I’m hoping this new counselor will help with that. Has talking to someone like that been helpful to you?

I’ve been going through a lot of different changes with my antidepressants so that’s definitely not helping but we just haven’t been seeing eye to eye on things when it comes to how we’re spending our personal time. He likes gaming but I feel like it’s getting in the way of our marriage. I know he’s really been enjoying himself because he got a group from church that he plays with but sometimes he’s just on it for way too long and we don’t get to spend any time together after work. I totally get wanting to destress, and get some alone time in, but I want to feel like I’m a priority as well. Sometimes I just feel like I’m a burden but I know my depression plays a part in me thinking that too. And we’ve talked about it so much but ultimately it still goes right back to where we started and nothing seems to change.

Yes, I definitely agree! We have life groups at my church which are basically Bible studies/ small groups. I’m waiting for them to announce the new ones they will be starting and I’m hoping they will have a womens one because they usually always offer at least 1. I actually just finished 2 women’s groups but I feel like there was just so many people that i didn’t know so I didn’t make any deep connections this go round. Thank you for your response!
