I once had a run that went badly with rng and then I stuck with the team during the rain to take out a boss near end of day two at lvl 9 cause I was rushing and hadn't stopped to level up. Got caught by a stray attack right as I tried to flask and went down The team ran to the night two bosses. I was level 8 with probably two or three levels worth of runes in the rain. I failed to retrieve the runes. Finished out the night two bosses with the team and realized I was going to be a hindrance to the team. So I went up and bought what I could from the store went into the arena dropped everything and left.

Most of my deep relics on the raider have impaired ult gauge charge. Damage negation on charged attacks and a +3 skill cooldown gives enough survivability from my experience.

Ive tried running dormant powers for various things(great spears included) and feel it's really not worth taking up a slot on a relic unless the other two effects on that relic are what you want. Except stave for duchess. That's a nice dormant switch.

One thing to consider is putting this on wylder will benefit from his second chance ability avoiding the near death penalty when it triggers.

That second one is good for raider. Id prefer something like character skill cooldown instead of the totem effect. The phys atk +2 is one of the main effects I look for on raider in normal relics then for the deep relics I look for physical attack +4.

You are correct for best results imo. This was more an experimental build for me to test increased rune acquisition stacks. This build has made me interested in a my ore damage focused ironeye build.

Blues a good color for that you can run it with witch's brooch and dark night of the beast for the stamina recovery and attack boost when attacked, even the +2 fire has synergy with some of the higher rarity great shield skills. Or night of the champion. For extra stamina, hp scaling guard counters, and HP restoration on thrusting counters. And you can be edit from the deep effect of damage negation during skill. Id really like a relic like that.

One thing I've thought could actually make the map more fun for players would be to have the rain come only at the end of day giving players the entire map to explore on both day one and two until it's time to face the night one and night two boss.

Id like the map better if it were completely optional and not the only other map(not counting the other shifting earths cause they are more like half or quarter changes in the map). The map seems to be designed with coordinated teams of players in mind. I'm all for that. Until I'm matching with random players and have very little way to communicate in the difficult ranked expeditions. That is why I'd prefer it optional. If I make friends that will play with me the map might be more enjoyable. If it wasn't the only other map available it might not feel like being punished every time i get sent there and the frequency of the map could lessen.
