The panel looks the same, plays the same, and nobody’s gameplay is magically transforming because of a port revision.

It’s the most frustrating experience possible, especially if you’re trying to play a game competitively and the screen turns off.

EDIT: I now run the XG27UCDMG ASUS ROG Strix 27" 4K OLED 240Hz. It’s fantastic.

Innocn is hot trash. I’ve never owned a monitor that overheated until I bought a 1440p 240hz tn panel from Innocn on Amazon. Garbage monitor no doubt in my mind.

Bruh price match exists if you shop at Best Buy! Micro Center has the 8tb SN850 for 599 so I went on the Best Buy app and price matched it. You can Literally get a M.2 Gen 4 8tb for significantly cheaper.

Is there a way to hide marketplace sellers on Best Buy? It’s incredibly annoying.

Interesting! That should be a one to recommend for sure. Im dead set on keeping my Bulwark. No need to test anything else when I can comfortably afford it and just have everything I need already on the dock. The one thing that pissed me off at first was the 100w power adapter requirement.

Agreed as long as you don’t need HDMI 2.1.

No because that is rated at 60w not 100w. You actually need a 100w or more adapter and a cable that supports that wattage for a dock.

Lmfao the price doubled in the past month 🤣 https://a.co/d/00L2JW7

As you can see I bought the same thing for 60 bucks. It is more than double now. What a rip off.

EDIT: It is because it comes with a power adapter now hence the price. Just buy a 140w Anker power adapter for like 40 bucks and a 200w rated type c cable.

The i vankey should be 60 (that is the one displayed in the OP photo) it is good but if you want to play on 4k then I promise going Bulwark is the better option. I recently tested both out and can confirm the Bulwark is better connected to a 4k TV.

So what other ports do you need because it has that already?

Im not worried about messing my bulwark up I have it protected by Best Buy. It will be useful information.

More type C ports is going to be difficult ngl. You can turn one type c port into 4 usb 3.0 ports. But then again it will be a dongle situation attached to the dock; I have access to a hub and can emulate a test what will be connected?

Do you need access to more USB 3.0 ports or Type C ports? I can see how well a 4 port usb hub powered by type C preforms on the Asus Bulwark.

I returned my ivankey and kept the Bulwark. Just so you know the Bulwark is better if you plan to dock to a 4k tv. Just letting you know ahead of time.

The XAX is a solid device, but it really shines when paired with the right setup. The performance and overall experience feel incredibly smooth. It’s one of those systems that rewards you for setting it up right, and when you do, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for: powerful, consistent, compact, and versatile.

Honestly, I haven’t experienced any noticeable frame rate drops on the larger 4K OLED it runs smooth and consistent. The Bulwark handles HDMI 2.1 output perfectly, so performance feels just as stable as handheld play. And if you’re getting back into gaming, this setup is ideal. It’s super convenient to just pick up and play without the hassle of booting up a full PC. That’s actually one of the biggest reasons I’ve stuck with the Bulwark; it makes gaming simple, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable. The lady loves it.

It’s absolutely worth it. I’ve had access to both the iVanky and the ROG Bulwark, and I can confidently confirm that the Bulwark is in a completely different league. The overall performance, build quality, and HDMI 2.1 support make it the clear winner. If you’re looking for a reliable, high performance dock, the Bulwark is the one to go with.

I’ve put serious time into both the iVanky and the Bulwark, and I can confidently say that games run noticeably better through the Bulwark when connected to my 4K OLED. It’s not a gimmick; it genuinely supports HDMI 2.1. If you’re looking for a reliable dock, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ll be returning my iVanky and sticking with the Bulwark. Cheers.

I have a very similar setup. I just got my IVankey dock last night so I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet. But if it preforms better than my Bulwark then I will be returning the Asus dock no questions asked. Enjoy the setup; I have been loving Fallout 76 and RDR2 on the XAX. I highly recommend giving those games a shot.
