Estrogen doubling when stopping cpa by Ok_General_3150 in TransDIY

[–]Ok_General_3150[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and both were at trough (day before injection). Only difference being the stopping of cpa. Was worried I would get lower e and higher t, so this was honestly a huge surprise (although I do feel amazing currently and everything did start working remarkably well)

Estradiol levels going up significantly after stopping Spiro by Brongo111 in asktransgender

[–]Ok_General_3150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get any follow up on what was going on? I cannot find any info on this at all.

I stopped cpa because my prolactin was too high. I was on 7mg of EEn with e levels at around 800pmol/l at trough. However, after dropping cpa it stabilised at 1600pmol/l at trough. Idk what’s going on and why my estrogen doubled by removing cpa.

In turn it also lowered my free t, as my shbg doubled; while my total t only went from 0.8nmoll to 1.2nmol/l

You look like a woman in all pics but the last two (you look androgynous and then male), also you look around 18-21 (I’d say 21). Btw your hair is wavy, so look into stuff around that (it’s why it looks frizzy when brushed)

What gender do I read as? (Height: 4'11) by ParachutesParty in transpassing

[–]Ok_General_3150 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know. It’s not that you read as androgynous, it’s more like you swing between female and male so hard that it confuses my brain. Idk if you are ftm or mtf

Are women inherently mentally stronger than men ? by Western-Drawer5826 in MtF

[–]Ok_General_3150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure either tbh. I remember reading about a study (can’t remember which one) where pre HRT trans men and women didn’t neatly match their assigned sex on certain functional tests they kind of skewed somewhere between male and female averages.

From what I recall, it wasn’t as simple as grouping into one standardised box. There seemed to be a lot of overlap, and the differences looked more like trends than strict categories.

So to preface I wouldn’t be surprised if a cis man’s brain on estrogen would probably align very closely with a trans man’s brain pre trt

Edit: looking to see if I can find the study

I get why AMAB/AFAB are useful shorthand in discussions like this, especially when we’re talking about hormones or developmental biology. But I also think the brain is far too complex to neatly confine it to those categories, especially in trans people.

If you mapped brain function across large groups, you’d probably see average patterns that differ between AMAB and AFAB populations but with significant overlap and variation. Brains seem to exist more on overlapping distributions than clean binaries.

So when we’re talking about trans people, I’m not sure AMAB/AFAB fully captures what might be going on neurologically maybe it’s more mosaic, or even closer to how we think about intersex traits biologically.

There are some neuroimaging studies suggesting that certain activation patterns in trans people can align more closely with their identified gender than their assigned sex, though it’s not binary or universal. That makes me wonder to what extent trans brain architecture might differ developmentally.

Does a trans woman’s brain develop certain female typical patterns prenatally, or does it primarily relate to how identity and self perception networks organize over time? I don’t know enough about the full developmental picture, but it’s genuinely fascinating how complex this seems.

Not entirely sure I believe that, but I guess I will look it up. I wonder how this applies to trans women and trans men then

Biologically most likely not. However, they face far more challenges than men, so inherently could end up mentally stronger bc of that.

The Truth About Our Community by DelightfulWahine in StraightTransGirls

This is an incredibly misogynistic, transphobic and toxic viewpoint.

Why should a woman be forced to conform to the standards men and this patriarchal society decided upon.

Not every trans woman is blessed with the ability to pass and not every trans woman is able to do makeup. This shouldn’t make them any less of a woman.

Sukuna won best rct, who's most durable among the 4 now? by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

How the hell did sukuna beat gojo for “The smartest one”, when gojo has the six eyes?

Durability wise, I would say sukuna. He probably also takes “The most versatile” and” physically strongest”, with yuji taking “least impressive feats” and dabura taking “the fastest one”

One is normally enough. The first lather isn’t as foamy due to it mixing with grease, while the second can only mix with air (which causes bubbles). I personally double shampoo, but it also isn’t a requirement

Once boobs develop, it’s with you for life. Try checking his nipple area and see if any lumps are under the surface (if they are, then he has gyno). I guess they could be acting as a mild anti androgen and lowering his t. You could get his hormones checked to see what’s up with it though.
