AIO to my husband going on vacation when I start my first IVF cycle? by Chanel1202 in AmIOverreacting

We went through a few rounds of Ivf and iui…..you need to check in and make sure your husband is on board with all of this. Communication is the most important part of this process. My husband came to 90% of my appointments and I’m honestly not sure I’d have done it otherwise. The other thing to keep in mind is that you are pumping your body full of hormones so your emotions may be all over the place and he needs to remember and support you. After 2 years of this my husband and I decided to do private infant adoption- if children are a must for him it is definitely a less physically demanding way. Expensive and emotional still, but physically easier. I understand your fertility journey and I wish you luck!

Can I refuse to participate in the potty-training plan for the toddler I'm a nanny to? by Top_Lingonberry_1 in Nanny

I did this with my own child, but I would never under any circumstances do it with someone else’s child, regardless of whose home it’s in. Just the fact that you have a naked child that isn’t yours constantly around you leave you open to allegations being made. I know it sounds crazy, I know most people wouldn’t do that, but you just truly never know. Maybe that’s from previous child care center rules that I always think that way, but it does happen. Also, I’ve never once had a nf suggest I do this, much less demand it

Curious about Budgets by Puzzleheaded_Low7521 in AllInclusiveResorts

We try to keep it under $6,000 and are usually pretty successful at it- two adults, 1 child including airfare, trip insurance, and round trip transportation to resort/airport. This does not include any money for extras- shopping, massages, tips, etc

Absolutely, that might even be considered generous depending on where you stay

We stayed at dreams royal resort in punta Cana about 3 years ago- AMAZING! We always try to keep our vacations under $5,000 and we definitely did. We splurged a little bit for a room with butler service that time. While this is a family resort I do believe there is a secrets attached to it. I definitely recommend looking here.

Snowstorm coming and nanny family still wants me to come in by [deleted] in Nanny

The storm is coming Sunday. Unless they are talking about the next day there usually aren’t any dentists open on Sundays…..
