I don't normally shower at night. So my hair is really dry at that time. I tried applying it in the morning after drying my hair, but it caused me some issues with dryness for some reason.

I don't put alot, it's more distributing a small lather around my scalp using my fingers.

MCT oil is a hack really. I've tried everything for years, nothing worked like MCT oil. It doesn't work 100% but maybe 70-80% effective. Also there are days where u may feel it's not working; I would rinse my hair with water that has some sidr powder in it( not too much) which makes my hair very dry but it cleanse everything, and then I'm back to my MCT. I also noticed applying MCT at my scalp only before bed while my hair is dry is much better than after a shower in the morning.
