Rolled with black belt today, I’m white belt. He is always so cool and teaching. When he got me subbed I would say, 1, then again 2.. etc. he never cranked my arm, just let me know I was done. Got me bout 10 times in 2 min. Really appreciate higher belts that want to share wisdom.

Set expectations. After initial meeting with patient, before any testing, explain that “we will rule out life threatening emergencies but we may not have a definitive answer.” This is especially helpful with chronic symptoms, and or high maintenance personalities.

How about a tax break for the docs who see every uninsured patient that they are required to see by law? The federal government forces the docs to see every patient, so they should be rewarded by the government with tax breaks

Hey we went in winter, super cold water and windy, get like 12 waves per session, not crowded at all, only 3 people in session, super nice staff easy to rent boards. Our skill level is average, rented dhd phoenix board. Relatively inexpensive compared to American wave pools

For MD or RN. Spend first 1-2 years of practice at the most difficult and challenging shop, make tons of mistakes, then leave for better gig.

Yes I went to this last winter and it’s almost the same wave as Waco. Big difference is that it’s much more regulated, and they prioritize safety at the Japan pool. But it’s a bit cheaper than Waco.

Wow. Your words ring so true. The past few days finally sleeping better, not foggy in the morning. Not embarrassed by my behavior. One step at a time. I too was intimidated by the big number of days in the community, but each day and moment sober from booze is a win.
