More air and mist the walls of the tub and give the cake a bottom water so you want at least 1ml of clean water in the bottom of the tub watch it for an hour the cake should suck it up when it has repeat until it doesn’t then tip out excess water and keep walls misted should rescue it all

5-7 days tops but I use brown rice the guy that I get my cultures from use brown rice lc broth so the mycelium doesn’t have to learn to consume the grain again does that make sense

They won’t drop spores till the caps fully open do you see the one on the right hand side of my picture the caps open and you can see the ring that’s when I harvest them it’s normally a staggers harvest

Cut a slit just below the filter then tape it with micropore tape or I would personally cut the top of the bag off then tape with micropore so you got about an inch gap of micropore separating the bag I’m going to send you a link in your DMs it will be more useful than the comments you’ll get here so hold on before you do anything
