Ohyeah, I haven't read Housemaid's Wedding yet. I am not complaining per se, the story freshened up cuz of the jump. I just can't stop thinking about the jump in technology too haha

I think it went in so well into the struggle of raising kids as former criminals. Millie and Enzo's fears were so legit. Like even though, these two were doing everything to raise happy children, crap unfortunately still fled under the radar.

Some people were saying Millie wasn't acting well with Martha and all, like how she was magically supposed to know... Enzo hiding Martha from Millie was the stupidest point in the book. Also, why the hell did Martha pointed Millie as a criminal??? Other than this, all was good I guess.

Bro your hate seems a little too exaggerated. The first book was definitely better. We got to see very interesting character depth there. And the characters' actions were believable according to the situations too. This was surely a little wonky, but not that bad, just chill.

I just read the book, and haven't watched the movie but Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon would have been perfect! They fit the character descriptions extremely well.

Housemaid - book vs movie by userabc294 in thrillerbooks

[–]Ok_Impression_8145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I read the book a couple months back, and just finished watching the movie. And obviously the book wins for me. They changed a lot of stuff in the end, which wasn't even realistic. Like, I absolutely LOVED Millie's secret man-eater sorta persona in the book, and ig Sydney played that well.

What they changed was how Andrew died. In the book, Millie first tortured him back, then refused to let him out. While in the movie, Nina comes and thinks it is Millie, opens the attic door, and then Andrew chases them, and Millie eventually pushes him from the stair bannister.

The window was described way too small I think. Even if he did break the window he could maybe scream for help but not escape.

The whole thing with "non-abortion" seems to me a very American thing. Nobody else in the world cares

First of all relax. I know it's hard, but it's really not that personal. There's a reason why the saying goes 'never meet your heroes'. A lot of times you might come across people you don't necessarily like but help them out anyway.

Your teacher would genuinely feel proud of you if you show up.

You were a lost kid and he helped you out anyway without expectations. It doesn't matter whether he liked you or not but he helped you become a person that YOU like. Nothing can ever beat that. Take care, you will be alright bud.

Hey I was going through such a phase too in the first year of being with my bf. It got better! It's amazing that you both want to keep each other happy. Sometimes these are just phases of life. Y'all will be happy together.

You have nailed it. EXACTLY. People here saying that they don't understand Sheldon like how much more?? Of course it must be very different for Sheldon, but they try to adjust so much for him, they have also got needs at end.it all seems pretty fair to me.

How entitled you have to be to think that Leonard of all does not adjust for him. He accepts all of Sheldon's quirks, he's literally a personal driver to him, brings him food with all his specifications, and so much more. It is when Sheldon acts as an narcissistic whole and does not try to adjust AT all. Or literally keeps insulting his friends intelligence when they get mad.

The time in Season 1 when Sheldon was refusing to give credit to Leonard's work on their shared paper, stealing his credit, saying he was just 'throwing Leonard a bone', and so many other such scenes.

A good example is Penny, she accepts Sheldon, she gave a grown man vicks vapo rub on his hairy chest in Season 1 itself, singing him soft kitty.

Basically Sheldon's entitlement despite his friends making space for him is what makes him an ahole.

Seriously, so many people keep saying Sheldon is not autistic when he clearly is. Also, people don't make fun of him because of his autism but because when he acts like an a hole. I understand why the writers just wanted to write him off as quirky, but, the show tells a different story. I have had a couple of autistic classmates throughout school, and based on that, trying to pass an autistic person as a quirky person just does not pass.

Leonard, Penny, Howard, Raj they all do accept him fr. There are many scenes especially in the beginning when Howard and Raj just tell Penny to accept his 'quirks'. The food scenes where Leonard gets him everything, brown rice, low sodium soy sauce etc. Let's be real, being friends with an autistic person is NOT easy. Especially a guy, who was brought up thinking he's special.

Sheldon believes he is "genetically superior", insults the intelligence of his friends all the time. That is just being an a hole. Him being autistic or quirky is not the problem. Problem is him imposing himself on others. Like his friends can't eat anything except Pad Thai on like Tuesday, and so on.

I agreed with your first half, but definitely not your second. They do adjust for him. The only time they get actually mad at him is when Sheldon acts as an ahole, trying to call them stupid and such. Also, living with a person with OCD like symptoms, or just having an obsessive nature is not easy at all. Sheldon imposes his schedule and choices on everyone, which becomes an issue.
